Create a widget and embed it on your website

If you want to embed a calendar on your own website, you need to create a widget. You can create a widget under Channels. Creating widgets is free. We don't charge for widgets. You can create and use as many widgets as you like.

Create a widget

Click on Channels.
Click on + New widget

You will see a few widgets to choose from:

Calendar: Calendar of a single rental unit.
Timeline: Overview of multiple rental units. plus
Inventory: Calendar that shows the number of available rooms or spots that are left. plus
Search: Search bar that can be used to find and book available rentals. premium

Configuration tab

Configure the general settings of the widget.

Select the options that you want to apply to the widget that you are creating.
You can always go back to this tab to change the settings later.

Localization tab

Select the language of the widget and other options related to localization.

Some of the settings are only available in the Plus and Premium plan.

Accept online bookings

In the Premium plan, you have the ability to enable online bookings for your Widgets and Listing site.

Two types of bookings

You can choose between two types of bookings:

Booking request

A visitor makes a booking request.
The booking will be Pending until you confirm it manually.
The invoice of the booking will be generated and added to the Booking status page when you perform the action manually.
The guest can then make the payment.
Or -

Instant booking

A visitor makes a booking.
The booking will be Confirmed right after the guest made the initial payment automatically.
The invoice of the booking will be generated and added to the Booking status page automatically.

Getting started

Follow the steps below to accept online bookings. Let's get started!

Everything starts with a rental unit. It can be your holiday home, condo, B&B, camper, boat or whatever you rent out.

Migrate from AvailabilityCalendar.com to Bookingmood

| When you migrate to Bookingmood, nothing will happen to your calendars and data of AvailabilityCalendar.com. Your calendars, embed codes and everything of AvailabilityCalendar.com will keep working during and after the migration to Bookingmood. So, AvailabilityCalendar.com will keep working until your subscription period ends. This means a worry-free migration without interruptions, and plenty of time to figure things out.

As a customer of AvailabilityCalendar.com, you can export your calendars and users and import them into Bookingmood.

Step 1: Get the AvailabilityCalendar.com export token.

Log in to your dashboard. If you don't have a Bookingmood account yet, please create one first (free trial).

Syncing with iCal feeds

You can sync the availability of your rentals with other sites using iCal feeds. You can export the availability of your rentals from Bookingmood to other websites, but you can also import the availability of your rentals from other sites, like Airbnb or VRBO.

Import an iCal feed into Bookingmood

Click on Rental units
Click on a rental unit.
Click on Settings > Synchronization.
In the Imported calendars section, click on + External calendar.
Fill in the External calendar name, for example, 'Airbnb'.
Enter the Calendar URL (iCal).
Click on Submit.

Export an iCal feed from Bookingmood to an other website

Click on Rental units
Click on a rental unit.
Click on Settings > Synchronization.
Go to the iCal export section.
Only include the events that make your rental unavailable.
Choose the options you want.
Copy the iCal feed below.
Paste the iCal feed in the other website.
